The lovely Squirmy Popple has nominated me for a Liebster Award! YAY! Seriously chuffed. A Liebster Award is given from one blogger to another to find out more about new blogs and the person behind the blog.

1. What is your dream job?

This may be a job for the future once technology advances, but it would combine all of my dream jobs into one; film-maker, editor, writer, psychologist.

Visual creator helpologist; creating an actual happy place (or a virtual world) for people to go to for 10 minutes a day. This happy place would help them ‘re-center’ and become more mindful in order to improve their brain function and enhance their daily lives.

2. If you could pick one song to be your theme song, what would it be?

Holy crap that’s a hard question. I love music so much.

It would be a remix of “Is This Love?” by Bob Marley mixed Montmartre, “California Love” by Tupac & Dr. Dre and Flic Flac remix of “Riptide” by Vance Joy. Don’t know how that would sound but I would love it.

3. What is your favourite cheese?

ALL OF THEM. I eat cheese on it’s own at the end of a long day. Just chop up a few pieces and put it on a plate and I’m good….except Blue cheese (sorry but it’s disgooosting).

4. If you could go back and change one thing about your past, what would it be?

I wish I could go back to University and continue with my major in Film. Sophomore year I changed my degree to PR and Advertising as I transferred to a different school, but I always wonder what I would be doing if I continued studying film and followed my passion in editing.

5. I’m buying this round – what are you having?

What time is it? JAGER BOMB!

But usually glass of red.

6. What is the best compliment you’ve ever received?

Oh, I don’t know…after the baby was born, my friend said, “You are now a MILF” lols

7. What is your favourite word?

8. Who would play you in the film of your life story?

Who would I want to play me? the Jennifer Lawrence from “Hunger Games” #womanpower

Who would actually play me? Amy Schumer from that film, “Trainwreck”

9. What was the last book that you read?

“Lean In,” by Sheryl Sandberg. Check it ouuuut.

10. What was your most embarrassing moment?

My Mom walked into my freshman year (14 years old) English class and announced I was going to be in a beauty pageant. She had t-shirts with my face on them and flyers…. (I originally did not want to do the beauty pageant, but with some persuasion from my mother I ended up doing it)

ALSO when I was 11, she pulled up to school in her red, mustang convertible bumping, very loudly, Eminem, “Two trailer park girls go round me out side, round me outside, round me outside…”

11. What new skill would you most like to learn and why?

Coding. I’ve actually just signed up for a class and my partner does programming so he can help! I think this is a really good skill to have now, especially as I work in digital marketing. Also, although it may seem very technical, in a way, it’s somewhat philosophical and artistic as you are creating something from literally a 0 and a 1.

  1. AH brilliant post lovely! I had to laugh at Amy Schumer playing you in reality! lol I too LOVE cheese & music. It was great to know more about you. Thanks so much for the tag!! x

  2. Brilliant as always!! And nice to get to know more about you!! I also live cheese, even the blue stuff! Cheese is my biggest vice!! And I used to be a fan of the shots on a night out, now maybe not so much…! Your line of work sounds really interesting, even if it’s not what you thought you’d originally be doing!
    Thanks for sharing with #bigpinklink!

  3. This is great! So many good questions and interesting answers! I’m trying to remember where I read about a game project along the lines you describe in question 1. When I remember I’ll post it for you.

  4. These are fab answers! I particularly like your first answer and think thats a brilliant job opening … Good luck with the coding as well I am very impressed and I would love to still be able to drink jagar bombs but I think at the tender age of 36 the hangovers would be too immense! Thank you for joining us at #BloggerClubUK hope to see you again this week x

  5. The hangovers are very intense now, especially with a 4 month old! I’ve only been out a couple times and it was horrendous the next day, zombie-like status. Coding is going well, it’s so interesting because it’s like another language!
