I seriously need to attend a Mobileholics Anonymous meeting, I am on my phone constantly. Tweeting. Liking. Posting. Ranting. Raving? Where does the line stop!
However, on a slightly more positive note, I am very AWARE that I have this addiction. Not only does my boyfriend constantly nag me to “GET OFF YOUR PHONE,” but I also realise that the time I have with me son is precious so I really do put. down. the. phone. when I am with Bear. He is the most important thing to me and I make sure I do not sacrifice this time with him for a TWEET : /
Well, just after I take this photo….
Just recently I got the new Google Pixel. It is AH-MAZING. My photos look professional (ahem see above) and I always have space! The only problem is that because it’s a new phone it is easily hacked. I know this isn’t really something that we think about every day but I’ve realised how important it is now that I have 1,000+ photos of my son (already) on it. If my phone broke I would be DEVASTATED.
Reasons why antivirus for mobile is important:
- You will never lose your phone, you can locate your lost phone or tablet on Google Maps and/or blast an alarm at full volume remotely. If you think your mobile is gone for good, you can remotely wipe it to prevent your private data from falling into the wrong hands.
- You can prevent hubby from looking through, or stealing your photos! My husband will sometimes take my photos and post them on his Facebook or Twitter #poser. You can lock any of your apps with a unique PIN code, App Lock allows you to lock potentially sensitive apps e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, when you install them.
- Prevent weird viruses from randomly shutting your phone down i.e. losing all of your photos, from viruses, malware, spyware, unsafe apps and settings, unwanted callers, and other nasty threats.
To prevent yourself from all of the above, you DOWNLOAD the very useful android security app, once installed, it runs silently to protect your phone. Basically it is a dream for me as it ensures that my invaluable photos are kept safe.
There are more free android antivirus apps you can check out too, but I’ve used the one above and it has saved me from losing my phone 2 times already! I used the alarm notification, both times my phone was found underneath the couch, whoops I need to remember not to blame my husband for taking my phone! I also use the app lock, it’s not only good because your husband doesn’t steal your photos and post them as his own, but also so your toddler doesn’t accidentally press a bunch of buttons and call your boss!
Hopefully this wean you off of your addiction a bit…. ; )
